The new building is a multi-level facility with a two story atrium and expansive views is designed to accommodate approximately 600 to 800 students. Interior spaces will be dedicated to classrooms, labs and additional learning spaces for Health Sciences, Nursing, Health and Human Performance and additional academics. This building will be adjacent to the existing Technology Building and Hiering Science Building forming a congruence of buildings that could help OCC to create a STEM focused curricula.
Electrical, heating and cooling services will be fed from an existing campus CHP plant.
The project is currently in the construction phase, with construction completion scheduled for October 2017.
Cambridge is providing full construction management services including preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
